SOME WORRYING STATISTICS…

Every two minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer. 1 in 2 people in the UK born after 1960 will be diagnosed with some form of cancer during their lifetime. Four million people in the UK are living with an autoimmune condition which is more than six per cent of the population. This includes 400,000 people with type 1 diabetes, over 100,000 living with multiple sclerosis (MS) and over 400,000 with rheumatoid arthritis.

Covid 19 as crushed many people according to the UK government 166,730 Deaths with COVID-19 on the death certificate.

I have witnessed Covid 19 with my 9-year-old Down Syndrome daughter who spent a few days in hospital on oxygen so know first-hand how devastating this virus is to those who already have underlying health conditions.

What my research as clearly shown is that there are 3 primary factors that lead to
most diseases including cancer and getting crushed by a virus like Covid 19 and they are:

1. Toxic Overload
2. Nutrient Deficiencies
3. Chronic Long-Term Stress


When these 3 factors are in place toxic overload, nutrient deficiencies & chronic long-term stress which I see in most people that I run comprehensive blood and stool work on in my clinic then the immune system will always be compromised and unless addressed optimum immunity will NEVER be ACHIEVED.

So, it has to be a man-made disease, down to pollution and changes to our diet and lifestyle.

We are surrounded by environmental toxins that lead to DNA damage and cancer. How toxins may lead to cancer is by breaking DNA strands. Damage to DNA is a major initiating factor in cellular transformation to cancer. DNA damage can be caused by toxins that break DNA strands. Such damage can induce mutations in the DNA that trigger cancer.

A study by the Environmental Working Group (EWG) found the average person has over 91 toxic chemicals in their body. Some people had as many as 165, including 76 known to cause cancer, 94 known to be toxic to the brain and nervous system, and 79 known to cause birth defects and abnormal foetal development. 

There are nutrients that prevent DNA damage, and promote its repair, and they are very potent in protecting against cancer. Two British scientists for example discovered a substance scientifically proven to help prevent cancer found in certain fruits and vegetables and I’ll explain what they are and how it works in this webinar.

What about Covid 19 and nutrition well here are a few examples recent data show people with an omega-3 index greater than or equal to 5.7% had a lower rate of death from COVID-19 I very rarely see it above 2%. Since 2010, we have known that zinc inhibits replication of coronavirus in vitro it was tested on SARS-CoV, which was responsible for the SARS outbreak in 2002.

Zinc has long been recognized as an important component of our viral defences and we should make sure to get enough of it in our diets. Again, I see in 95% of people I test zinc deficiencies.

OBESITY DRIVES UP CANCER RATES AND THE LIKELIHOOD OF GETTING CRUSHED BY COVID

Public Health England estimated that having a BMI of 35 to 40 could increase a person’s chances of dying from covid-19 by 40%, while a BMI greater than 40 could increase the risk by 90%. For example, in the first meta-analysis of its kind, published in Obesity Reviews, an international team of researchers pooled data from scores of peer-reviewed papers capturing 399,000 patients.

They found that people with obesity who contracted SARS-CoV-2 were 113% more likely than people of healthy weight to land in the hospital, 74% more likely to be admitted to an ICU, and 48% more likely to die.

A Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology study looking through 61 million medical records in the U.K. says 30% of Covid-19 deaths occurred in people with diabetes. After accounting for potentially relevant risk factors such as social deprivation, ethnicity, and other chronic medical conditions, the risk of dying from Covid-19 was still almost three times higher for people with type 1 diabetes and almost twice as high for type 2, versus those without diabetes.

DIABETES INCREASE CANCER & COVID RISK

 ONE person every three minutes is diagnosed with diabetes in the UK (2019), research reveals. One in ten people over 40 in the UK are now living with a diagnosis of Type 2 diabetes, according to our new analysis released today. The new figures show that there are 3.8 million people living with a diagnosis of diabetes in the UK, and 90% of those with Type 2. There are almost 1 million more people living with Type 2 diabetes, who don’t know they have it because they haven’t been diagnosed, bringing the total number up to 4.7 million. By 2030 it is predicted this number will rise to 5.5 million.

Diabetes and resulting elevated insulin levels are associated with increased risk of many kinds of cancer, as well as with development of more aggressive and metastatic cancers that carry a grim prognosis. Mechanisms for this deadly trend have emerged from laboratories around the world in just the past few years. One of the most effective ways of preventing and reversing type 2 diabetes is to build muscle.

There is also a very strong correlation between the amount of muscle you have, and the strength of your immune system research is clearly showing that muscle improves the strength of our immune system. Also, as people age, they lose muscle this is known as sarcopenia and older peopled also develop something known as immunosenescence which refers to the gradual deterioration of our immune system thankfully the research is showing that there are several things that you can implement in your nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle to significantly slow and even inhibit this immune decline as well as preventing muscle loss as we age. The problem though when you have toxic overload, nutrient deficiencies & chronic stress you WILL NOT BUILD MUSCLE until these are addressed.le.

THE INCREDIBLE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN OUR HORMONES & IMMUNE SYSTEM

 There is a very strong correlation between our hormones and our immune system for example men have been shown to have greater risk of COVID-19 illness compared with women, a new study shows that the lower the testosterone level in men, the higher the likelihood of severe COVID-19 disease.

Senior author Abhinav Diwan, MD, a professor of medicine at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, said in a statement. “If a man had low testosterone when he first came to the hospital, his risk of having severe COVID-19 meaning his risk of requiring intensive care or dying was much higher compared with men who had more circulating testosterone.

When researchers in Wuhan, China, measured the oestrogen levels of women admitted to hospital with COVID-19, they found that women with low oestrogen levels were more likely to suffer severe symptoms than women with normal oestrogen levels, supporting the idea that oestrogen may be protective against the disease.

Unfortunately, from my analysis of blood work I see a plethora of people both male and female at all ages with very low testosterone & oestrogen. I’ll give you optimal levels in this webinar and how to increase them if low.

  By increasing the body temperature, more leukocytes (white blood cells) are released into the bloodstream, where they attack harmful microorganisms.
